I think they will finish somewhere higher than 6th. With Flores and Leckie both on fire and Travis Dodd still to come in, there are plenty of reasons to suggest why Adelaide will finish high up on the ladder. The players are responding to new coach Rini Coolen - they seem to be enjoying playing for him, playing with more freedom. Seems to be like a breath of fresh air - great for the city of Adelaide.
Did you see Flores' goal against Newcastle, and in your opinion, where do you think it's the best goal in A-League/NSL history? Pel, Dernancourt
Yes I saw his goal - who didn't! A fantastic individual goal, but not necessarily the greatest A- league goal. It would be in my top 10 A-league goals. But, there have been a number of exceptional A-league goals that I've seen. For example , I got a pretty good view of Nicky Carle's last minute winner against us a few year's ago - that was special - though it wasn't special for me or my United teammates at the time! I'm sure there would have been quite a few wonderful NSL goals over the years too.
Who do you think will win this weeks Super League grand final and why? LT, Mile End
It should be a great game between the two form teams of the competition in the latter half of the season. Hard to pick a winner, but if I must, I'd tip Adelaide City with their experience of the last few years , combined with Blue Eagles' injury worries.
